haha, it's still my birthday
on the west coast. It's been
a great day. I've gotten lots
of birthday wishes, and
even a couple presents.
I made people happy
and was happy too.
This morning I met
zach in soc. he is a soph
who lives in the butts.
it was a short convo,
but I liked it. meeting
new people is very very
cool. I decided to make
oatmeal raisin cookies
for throw and my hall
mates. I wanted to make
them from scratch, but
looked at the ingredients
in the store and it wasn't
really worth it. I got a bag
mix and it was delicious. I
made the cookies in Daniel's
apartment in hirise. him and
Sam decided not to go to frisbee
cause it was raining out a
bit, which I thought was lame.
frisbee people liked the cookies,
and all wished me happy birthday.
it was really casual because only
about 12ish people showed up
because of the rain (lame, they
missed out) so I ended up
camping out in the endzone a
lot, which actually worked
very very well. I scored a whole
bunch of points, which was awe-
some. I should wear my contacts
the next rainy day because it's
hard to see with glasses. cleats
would also help cause of the rain
but I don't have any =(. I bought
myself that pair of shorts today!
they were so cooL!! I really like
them. birthday gift to myself, ha.
in frisbee I was apparently hard to
guard. this guy ian was guarding me
but he got frustrated, even though
he's like as tall as me with my arm
raised. he yelled at me some and it
was scary, but he's really nice. once
he yelled something or other as I
was going toward him and I totally
was not expecting it and slipped and
fell.. they all laughed at me, haha.
a few new people came, one of which
is on the all guys frisbee team, and
they were fuN! hope they come back.
I ate dinner with frisbee people
and later my hall mates sort of surprised
me with happy birthday wishes. earlier
Jessie gave me this super sweet card.
I also got a letter from astrid with a
chart that says how much I can drink.
it says that, as a 105lb female, if I
drink more than 6 drinks over like
6 hours I'm messed up. so basically
I can never drink more than six drinks.
3 drinks puts me in the blue "danger"
zone. being asian probably doesn't help.
my hall got me balloons! two are helium
and the rest are just big balloons. I like
them. I talked to my mom, she's going
to send me a box. I'm so tired of the
mail system, it seems to take forever
but it really doesn't. mail sucks.
when getting my dinner I talked to the
person (student) who was serving
my food at the kosher line and
he seemed pleasantly surprised I was
asking him how he was and etc. I
think I will do it again when I get
food; I liked it. I didn't get much
done today, but oh well. It's my
birthday! do what I want!
