here for day TWO

I gotta say, it's pretty great.
I'm meeting some awesome people,
and learning a lot about the
different types of things they like.

Tonight there was this square dance,
which sounds stupid,
but it was really intense.
Square dancing is easy but way
hard at the same time.
I met this guy Peter who's doing
crew here! I asked him what his shirt
was for (state) and then i said I coxed
back home and he was pleasantly surprised.
Maybe I would have partnered with him,
but I was with this guy Max who lives down
the hall. He's alright, I didn't talk to him much
yesterday, but now he seems to come out
of his room more.

My hallmates and I hung out on Foss Hill some,
the only place that illegal substances are allowed.
we looked at the stars some,
but mainly watched the dancers.
it was ok.

I played ERS with them
and I won! it was cool! I was in kind of
a tired-crazy mood today,
I noticed it in the afternoon, but it was
probably brought out more by the square dancing
so I guess I was energized.

I went to the bank today to make a um,
account, but then I didn't want to wait.
This guy nearby Jesse has a car,
So we were able to go with him.
we stopped by this plant store and got this flowering
plant! it's way cool.  IT's a lily of sorts?
Nice, striking orange. nice and green too.
It was like $4. Now i have my baby plants,
my old gnarled looking plant, my aloe plant
and my new orange flower plant.
I'm sure the others will look fantastic
once they're grown. Having a plant
from the start seems like it'd be pretty awesome,
hopefully it'll work.

Arrowhead plant, leaf plant, Jasmine plant, new plant (lily), cilantro, aloe plant

besides that...
um , not much happened. We're all sorting
out our pre-registration stuff to get ready to
sign up for classes.

edit- I changed my mind, I think it's the heat
that's bringing out the crazy, it's sooo hot out here.
perhaps a combination.
