First Day of Classes

My first day of classes was cooL!
I only had one-
Intro to Soc from 11 to 12:20
so it wasn't that bad. Woke up at like 10:30,
walked over there. I answered one question
"what do you think of for sociology"
and introduced myself and stuff.
It was alright- he gave us a huge packet
of stuff to read and a paper assignment,
ugh, for a 2 to 5 page paper due Friday.
After class though I came and hung out.
I went to go audition for one of those
a cappella groups and sang Man of the Hour
by norah jones. I wanted to audition
for the other ones but the line was way
too long, so they never got to me.
I guess I will tomorrow. I only
auditioned for the funny one, and I was
kind of out of breath from playing frisbee
rightish before, =), so I didn't do too well
so I didn't get in =(, but I'm ok with that.
That one was actually the funny one, where
they sing the inappropriate songs (they did
mother lover at the concert) and stuff
so I wasn't actually planning on auditioning
anyway since I"m not that into funny stuff?
They asked me to tell a joke or say an
embarrassing story or something and I didn't
really know what to talk about. =/
I ended up saying some stuff about
Phineas and Ferb and Shmirtz,
but I don't think it made much sense.
idk. Only reason I did was because there was
basically no wait. all in all it was a good experience.
While I was waiting for the other one,
which I never got to audition for, I played
some ultimate. They were an actual team,
they play hard! They run and jump and slide and
stuff. They make blocks and traps and force it
places and stuff. It's all rather confusing.
They count off and use stalls. It was fun though,
I think I'll go back again tomorrow.
Tonight we went to an Indian place for dinner,
which was so delicious. I found something like
the dish I like back home and it was so good!
Rashedul, a guy from our hall, said he thought
it was cool how I made appreciative noises
while I eat, haha. We had naan and some
fruit dessert thing. I stuffed myself for sure,
and I think I ate about 120%
what I'm supposed to today,
so maybe tomorrow I'll eat about 80%.
I listened to some more music in the courtyard.
Richard and Joy got into the orchestra!!
They play, respectively, clarinet and violin,
which is awesome. I'm sort of tired.
I stopped timing these things; I should probably start
again. Eh I'll think about it next time.
oh, other news, I updated my itunes
to 10.0, and it's weird! the icons are all different =/
and everything is gray/silver. they added ping too?
Idk what else is different, but it's odddd.

cilantro plant is sprouting! It's that green thing in the center. There's another whiter one too!
